The woods held space for me in a way nothing else could. I arrived with my usual resistance, but it melted as the sunlight streamed through the giant windows, casting a golden touch over everything. In that quiet revolt against the chaos of everyday life, I reached for my pastels and let the untouched stillness of nature guide my hand. What emerged was a small abstract piece on paper—raw and untamed, like the woods themselves. Each stroke felt like a release, a breath of freedom drawn from the ground beneath my feet and the fresh air lifting my spirit.
