thoughts: just another day in paradise
Gathering information and tools to continue my efforts working on my personal growth. I realize making references to personal growth and using the terms that are trending these days like, “working towards being my best self,” sound repulsive and nauseating. They sound lofty and unattainable and these comments sound like makes a lot of people want to vomit, because it sounds like it’s grandiose and pious. It’s nothing like that at all. I’ve come to learn that the more I work towards being the kind of person I aim to be, the closer I get to it.
