gather writing materials for this creative expression free writing exercise (utilize what you feel most comfortalbe with ie. pen/paper, computer, ipad)
set timer for five minutes
ideally find space in a quiet room
turn timer on, close eyes
write down every single QUESTION that comes to mind.
when timer chimes, flip paper over (or close computer/ipad, etc)
walk away from your questions.
set another timer for 30 minutes
while away from the questions you wrote work on something both mindless and physical. (recommendations include mild exercise, yoga, walk, general housework)
when timer chimes return to a quiet place with your writing device
set timer for five minutes
as you set off the timer to begin your free writing, ask yourself about how you feel.
write down everything that comes to mind.
